Life Lately + Blessing Bags GiveawayNovember 18, 2013
-- my precious friend and coworker gave birth to a beautiful babyboy on November 13 in which I was lucky enough to get to meet him the following day. He is simply precious and I'd be content holding him all day. If that doesn't make you want kids, then I don't know what will :) Welcome baby Aiden!
-- this little gem I picked up on Tracy's Closet for a heck of a deal. Yes, I may of spent like 8,000 points which would equal 80 bucks if you were to take it literally, but in reality all I spent was $6.95 for shipping. I can easily say I love me a good bargain and that I love my new handbag ALOT! Obviously considering it made an appearance on my instagram :)
-- this is me looking somewhat hippyish although that wasn't my intention when getting ready especially for the event I was attending, a baby shower. Luckily, Jessica was able to have her baby shower before baby Aiden arrived. He made his appearance a few weeks early and is healthy as can be.
-- it brings joy to my heart that the blogging community always finds ways to give back. My friend Shane, who blogs at Whispering Sweet Nothings started what is called Blessing Bags for the homeless and I am so grateful to be apart of it to help drive donations to a cause she is so passionate about. Help us give back this holiday season by donating to such a great cause!
You can read more about the blessing bags below :)
Let me just start by saying, the blogging community is second to none. You ladies never cease to amaze me when it comes to the support for causes I am so passionate about.
If you were around my corner of the internet during the holidays last year, you may recall my Blessings Bags for the homeless giveaway and how YOU helped me touch 150 lives? I've decided I want to make this an annual tradition!
No longer will you need to ask yourself: Do I hand him money? But then what will he spend it on? Do I drive through that McDonald's and buy him some lunch instead? Are they even homeless? It always seems to leave you feeling guilty whether you give in to their pleadings or not.
My first thoughts were in asking friends to donate trial size toiletries. But, unfortunately, with all my blogging pals living across the country (& world), this would be difficult and costly to coordinate. So instead, this giveaway will help to gain donations to purchase items that go in the bag. In addition, I am pledging to match you guys dollar for dollar in what I spend on the items!

I do hope some of you will follow suit and set up a similar gig in your own community. Trust me, the faces of these people you restore hope in are simply priceless. You haven't truly lived until you've done something for someone who can never repay you, and are perfectly content with that.
