Vine Vera Review + Facial RoutineNovember 16, 2014
Thanks Vine Vera for sponsoring this post. All opinions are 100% my own.
Confession time: on a daily basis I struggle with my skin. It's true and it drives me absolutely insane trying to figure out what facial products work and don't work on this oily, acne prone skin of mine. However, within the last two months I decided enough is enough and finally bought a cleansing brush in hopes it would be the answer to all my problems. I did quite a bit of research comparing the Clarisonic brush with all the many facial brushes out there and decided to go with the Olay Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System. Honestly, this little brush is amazing and was totally worth purchasing. A few days into using my new cleansing brush I was sent a few products to try from Vine Vera's skincare line and today I am ready to share my findings with you.
I use each of these products as directed in the order that they are listed below and have found myself a new facial routine that I really love and one that is really quite effective. I have always had the worst problematic skin, but with using these products I have found that those days are few lately because of how well these products really keep my face clean. I am talking about a clean that my face has never felt before. My facial routine consists of using the pro-x, cleanser, toner, peel, serum, and followed by a moisturizer both day and night. I also really love that these products have anti-aging properties as well as are formulated without parabens, mineral oil, lanolin, formaldehyde, acetone, alpha and beta hydroxy acids and synthetic coloring. Overall, these high end skin care products are definitely doing wonders for my skin and I am even noticing that some of my finer lines aren't as prominent as before so that is a plus. I also can't help but notice how good my complexion looks after just a months use, however, the price point on these skin care products are a little bit out of my budget, but if you are willing to splurge a little I think these products are definitely worth it.
Resveratrol Milk Cleanser
This cleanser is an extremely great cleanser that smell amazing. I use a cotton ball to put the cleanser on and you can just see all the impurities that are still left on my skin after I had already cleansed my face with my pro-x. It's just amazing and really makes my skin feel so soft and clean.
Resveratrol Balance Toner
The toner is the second step in this two step facial kit and it just keeps on cleaning what the cleanser left behind. Both the cleanser and the toner can be used for everyday use.
Resveratrol Refining Peeling
I really love using this peel because it helps to get rid of dirt and oils that sit on my skins surface, which in my case is a lot. I use this product twice a week as recommended and I can definitely notice a difference in the way my skin feels on the days that I don't use it. I apply just a small, thin layer on my skins surface and then use my fingers in a circular motion causing the peeling effect. I seriously love how squeaky clean my skin feels after using this. It's just awesome and since I use very little just a few days a week this product should last me a long time which is a plus.
Vitamin C Collection
This serum right here is definitely at the top of my list for best serums I have ever used because it certainly gives my skin the nutrients it needs. Not only does it reduce the overall appearances of anti aging with it's resveratrol properties, but it also packs a punch with Vitamin C and Vitamin A to leave my skin looking radiant. In my opinion, this serum smells just like a citrus starburst and I absolutely love it. I also couldn't help but love the velvety smoothness of this serum. It doesn't leave my skin feeling oily at all which I am super happy about seeing that oilyness is one of my main skin concerns.
